FM Projects is ready to support your drawing updates and changes. We also offer services such as: Layer Standardization, FM Drawings,Polyline and

Tagging, MEP drawings, Mechanical (HVAC) drawings, Reflected Ceiling Plans, Fire Protection & Fire Life drawings, and Parking Structures & Parking Lots.

Layer Standardization: Changing layers to match AIA standards provided in the CAD standards document. Step: Use updated As-built/Record drawings and standardizes layers in all base plans.

FM Drawings: Create FM drawings to be used by your CAFM System.

   Step: Create Layer Standards. Create door, window, walls, etc color schema and set to be used by your CAFM System.

Polyline and Tagging: Polyline all Tag all p-lines in the FM Drawings for your CAFM System.

   Step: Polyline and Tag Drawings: FM Projects will create poly lines to the BOMA standards.FM Projects will create the room tags to link the drawing to the database.

MEP drawings: Organize MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings provided by the client.

   Step: Use revised Record Base plans and overlay MEP information as three separate discipline drawings.

Mechanical (HVAC drawings) three sub drawings: HVAC ductwork/Controls/Mech.

Plumbing & Electrical (Electrical Lighting and Power Plans) and Panel information, Riser diagrams etc, Plumbing drawings.

Reflected Ceiling Plans: Create reflected ceiling plans (RCP’s).

   Step: Create RCP’s from drawings provided by the client. Lift layers and standardize OR create from scratch.

Fire Protection & Fire Life Safety drawings: Create FP and FL drawings.

   Step: Create FP and FL drawings from drawings provided by the client. If no drawings available then we can only create Fire Life Safety drawings by field verification.

If created from scratch after site visit or client discussion, as it would depend on the number of elements to be captured. For example: location only of smoke detectors, strobes and alarms and fire exit signs. We cannot create FP piping plan if client does not have as built drawings.

Furniture: Create furniture layout drawings.

   Step: From field verification or from furniture drawings provided by the client. Standardize layers and blocks. Simple furniture shapes like rectangles for desks, insert standard chair blocks (from AutoCAD) to represent seating and furniture. For Intelligent furniture time frame will increase as it would capture all info like make and size, a site survey required first, narrowing down the furniture type and then creating blocks and inserting in rooms with tags.

Parking Structures & Parking Lots:

   Step: Create drawings for Parking structures and Lots. Field verify to check drawings or create from scratch. Requires: initial site survey, largely depends on number of floor/Parking spaces and the detailed required (like parking stall information i.e. compact/standard/HC and HC van accessible).
